Engagements: Helen Donath is one of the most famous operasingers of the 20th century and is still in brillant shape in the 21st century. She celebrated 40 years anniversary of her incredible career in 2001. She is well known as one of the best Mozart- and Liedersingers ever. Her discography includes more than 100 immortal recordings. She performed with conductors like Klemperer, Böhm, Karajan, Barbirolli, Beccham, Solti, Bernstein, Maazel, Abbado, Levine, Barenboim, Sawallisch and Carlos Kleiber.
She appeared in leading parts in more or less all the most important operhouses and festivals such as Teatro alla Scala Milano, Metropolitan Opera New York, Royal Opera House Covent garden, Vienna State Opera, Bavarian State Opera (honored with the title "Bayerische Kammersängerin"), Salzburg Festival etc.
